Few years down the line, and time can’t erase the good deed of a man who thought of others and did his own quota for mankind.
In May 2014, a Saudi man who prefers to remain anonymous set a giant refrigerator outside, as a food donation drop off and pick up point. This was done to spare needy people the challenge of begging and giving those who are affluent or with surplus food a convenient way to donate.
The story spread far and wide after a Muslim religious scholar with Shaikh Mohammad Al Araifi tweeted “I’ve always said the people of Hail are generous. A man puts a fridge outside his house for leftover food; an indirect act of charity for the needy. Oh how I love you, Hail!”
Till date, his identity remains a mystery but his act of kindness remains evergreen. That memorable act of charity inspired a lot of people all over the world.
